Marylou McAdams Corson is a distinguished family law attorney with over two decades of legal experience in New Jersey. She earned her Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware School of Law in 1998 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston College.
Marylou began her legal career as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Atlantic County and Cape May County Prosecutor’s Offices, where she handled various criminal matters involving children and families. During her tenure, she earned a reputation for professionalism, organization, and a compassionate approach, gaining the respect of judges, opposing counsel, and law clerks.
Transitioning to family law, Marylou has focused on guiding clients through challenging life transitions, including divorce, child custody, and support matters. Her background in psychology enhances her ability to understand clients’ needs and goals, allowing her to provide tailored legal counsel. She is known for her active listening skills and dedication to achieving positive outcomes for her clients.
Marylou is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and is a member of several professional organizations, including the Cape May County Bar Association and the Atlantic County Bar Association. She has also been involved in pro bono work, notably obtaining an Order Granting Clean Slate expungement for a client through South Jersey Legal Services.
Beyond her legal practice, Marylou is actively engaged in her community. She has been happily married for over twenty years and is a mother to two sons.
