Jonathan Hirst, Esq., MBA/CFA (Associate)

Jonathan graduated summa cum laude from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where he consistently earned Dean’s List honors and was awarded the prestigious Winifred Sobie Pasternack Memorial Award for Excellence in Civil Liberties. During law school, he distinguished himself as both a scholar and advocate, laying the foundation for a career defined by intellectual rigor and client-centered service.
Following graduation, Jonathan clerked for the Honorable Lance J. Kalik, J.S.C., in the Family Part of the Superior Court of New Jersey. In that role, he gained invaluable, behind-the-scenes insight into judicial decision-making in matrimonial, custody, and support matters—experience that now informs his ability to anticipate challenges and craft winning strategies for his clients.
Jonathan’s academic background is equally impressive. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Brandeis University and an MBA from New York University. Prior to entering the legal profession, Jonathan built a distinguished career in finance, earning the highly respected Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and becoming a frequent speaker at industry conferences. This rare blend of legal acumen and financial expertise allows Jonathan to provide divorcing clients with a decisive advantage in cases involving complex asset division, business valuations, and support negotiations.
He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, and before the Supreme Court of the United States—a distinction that underscores his breadth of qualification. Jonathan is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, where he serves on the Membership Committee and contributes to the Family Law Practice Committee, ensuring that he remains at the forefront of developments in family law across the state.
